I'm sorry that triple cross or whatever it was supposed to be with the coaxium was just so unnecessarily complicated and stupid. And WTF was up with Darth Maul? It would have made more sense if Jabba The Hutt were behind the whole thing and Han join forces with him at the end.

Also the problem from the beginning was they were trying to recreate an iconic character who was played an iconic actor. If they attempted to take any risks at all they surely would have fallen flat on their stupid faces. They were boxed into a corner, they had to play it the dull and safe route. It was a lose-lose situation from the beginning.

Yeah, it wasn't terrible, and I suppose it might be considered good... if it didn't deliberately compare itself to some absolutely great movies.
