Watching the Making of documentary, the designer says all the right things like he looked at American muscle cars, but what he made was bland.

Yeah it looks like a box. They should have made it look more like Luke's.

Yes one of the big failings of Disney sw is the lack of fresh designs and if there Dre they are unimaginative.

That being said, the race chase was pretty well done and looked great other than the Kessel business

The actual chase looked good, it just lacked a cool looking speeder. Disney SW never gets it completely right.
