Could Star Wars fanatics stop giving Disney your money?

Disney is NOT going to make a decent Star Wars movie. They've proven it twice already. If you don't pay to see this crap, maybe they'll sell the rights to someone who wants to do something creative with it.

People have not stopped going to Fast and Furious movies or the Transformer movies. Flashy mindless action and a big name sells without danger. These empty Star Wars films are going nowhere.

Just look at all the people excited for The Last Jedi which quite literally can't be good because it has to 'fix' TFA. All the questions people are excited to see the answers to were just contrive nonsensical plot holes in the last film. People ate it up and are begging for more.

I estimate that the next film and Han Solo will do almost just as well as the last 2, or close, it will decline for the episode 9 and whatever side films they do but it will plateau at 300 to 500 million each on 180 to 200 million dollar budgets which will financial justify more and more sequels. Think about it, if your conservative estimate for a movie is 100 million in profit; there is no way you would stop. Especially if you know your audience are a bunch of retarded fan boys that eat up lazy narrative/mysteries and progressive pandering. If the profits start going down they will throw in a new mystery and a trans character that wants to adopt gay jedis one of which will be a famous pop singer and they will start doing Star Wars disney musicals. god the future of this series looks bleak.

Bleak, but, more than likely, very true.

We'll have Disney Star Wars for decades to come... The interesting thing will be to see how the fanatics of the older movies will cope with their existential crisis... After the denial, bargaining, anger, etc... of being dissapointed over and over again, will they finally let go of their StarWars attachment?

Will they ever grow up?

I've considered the question and concluded that yes, even if the Star Wars "fanboys" hate hate HATE the Disney films, they'll still pay for tickets, will pay for first-weekend tickets, and will do so even if they know they will hate the film or are determined to do so. There are two reasons for this: 1) They won't want to be left out of the internet discussions of the new film, and 2) some of them actively enjoy having something to hate, and will pay real money to hate-watch Disney Star Wars films.

If I'm right, and I usually am, then Disney's strategy of concentrating on getting other demographics hooked on the franchise is fucking brilliant. Because yes, getting people hate-watching things is big business these days, most of reality TV is designed to attract Haters as viewers! So if Disney can attract both fans and haters, damn, that's a lot of money in their pockets.
