I remember reading a few months back how Mafham's character was slated to die in the script, but when the apparatus that did special effects didn't explode or whatever or some such, instead of rigging everything up and taking hours, the director or someone just decided the character got to live. Lol

Hehe at least they decided not to go with the CGI route...
