I can remember that from 30+ years ago as a Reserve!Yet these Super Snipers don't seem to pay any heed to it what so ever!It seems these Films have got so bad now it is uncool to mention that they are ridiculous ! I don't care it was so irritating I gave up with it!

TL;DR the basic ways to conceal yourself. Don't look like a person, no glint, avoid casting shadows that look unnatural, etc. etc.
