Most unlikeable character

Murphy is a disgrace. I don't understand if he was written to be a sexist, selfish jerk or if the actor couldn't convey what he was supposed to.

Before anyone says I don't get his themes, I must say I have seen all of Noé's work and not even the incestuous butcher from Carne and Seoul Contre Tous angered me so much (Phillipe Nahon is amazing, he displays many layers, I even felt sorry for the butcher).

In fact even La Tenia is a better character than Murphy. It takes a lot of guts for me to admit it since that rape scene haunts me to this day, and by divine Bellucci, I hated that freak.

What the hell is this movie supposed to express? Please enlighten me.

I couldn't stand one more shot of that guy's small penis...

I didn't turn it off hoping it would get better. But only the last scenes in the bathbub and with the kid were ok to me. I was hoping Murphy got done for in the middle of the movie.
