just when you thought Mickey Rourke was done

It seemed like Rourke was condemned to b/c movie once again, and his face looked weirder than ever. But Ashby looks really promising and the weird look sort of works for this role.

It will probably not be a comeback like the wrestler but I hope he will get some better roles after this.

This actually looks promising, but Mickey Rourke looks so weird now. It's like someone is wearing a bad Mickey Rourke mask.

Anything is possible! I personally loved him in his "9 1/2 weeks" days and he went a little hard on the surgical procedures but is it just me or does it seem like he is getting his old look back gradually? He looks a lot better now than he did during expendables.

I swear he looks better in Sin City. He has the worst granny wig ever in this movie. He really messed up his face boxing . He must have been a lousy boxer getting hit in the face that much! Poor dude!

Not that I give a *beep* what he looks like, but I'm not sure what you guys are talking about. Facially, this is the best he's looked in years. Looked much worse 10 years back.

Well that's a low standard to start with. Sure he looked worse 10 years ago but he still look like a weird alien. Looking "his best" doesn't mean he looks good.

Not that I give a *beep* either but his face is messed up so he should probably stop trying to get it fixed. It won't happen.

His mouth looks rather weird. The lips were too swollen. Basically, the lower face did not look as his, but as Donnie Wahlberg's. That did not affect the acting, though. He was perfect.

As jacked up as his face is he isn't ever going to be an a-list actor again. He will at best be cast as the bad guy in an a-list movie but even then he is almost so jacked up now that he would have a hard time with those roles as well.

Who cares how he looks? It's called growing old... He's always been a charismatic and charming actor in my eyes ever since Johnny Handsome.
I'd put him on my list.

I don't care if Rourke ends up doing Car Sale commercials, I'll watch every time it airs !!! I'm a loyal fan and always will be !! Loved this guy as long as I can remember !!!!. I hope he comes back strong as hell. And hope he finds someone very good to fix his face, and stop letting new guys practice On it !!!. As Rourke would say """""BRING IT""""..

I'll agree Rourke's performance is very good. Otherwise, this coming of age tale meets a CIA regret and revenge saga doesn't work. The cute and violence don't mix here.

I'm watching Ashby right now. It's a sweet movie, and I am really enjoying. I will now say this is my pick for his nicest character. He pulled it off with no effort.
