Did anyone else want to punch his girlfriend in the face?

She knew from the get go he was in the CIA and wouldn't be able to talk about what he does or risk of going to jail, yet all she did was b!tch & complain that he won't talk about his job.

He did describe a liberal pretty well about how she "lives in a fantasy world where there is no consequences nor responsibility" oh and how she was unemployed as well.

She's the one that recommends he take the job in Hawaii then complains when he is stressed out about it.

The best part was at the end when he is trying to look out for their safety and he recommends she return home and she starts her complaining and says "this is the last time I'm doing this" even though I don't recall Snowden asking her to do that before.

It is one thing to say you accept something like that in concept....then there is the whole issue of actually living with it. Turns out it was hard for her to live with. I understand....I would find such a relationship to be unsatisfactory as well.

No, it is not a description of liberals. But, hey, think whatever you want. As far as the part where she was unemployed, they moved to another country and she was not able to get a work permit there. You really can't blame her for that....not to mention she appeared to be unhappy about the fact that she could not work.

Ok, but she also made it clear she knew a lot people (family/friends) who have been associated with the intelligence community based on their "I work at the State Department" BS response when asked where they work at. So it isn't too far fetched that she had to realize that Snowden had to take his confidentiality/secrecy agreement VERY seriously. She also seemed to know a decent amount of how Government & intelligence works (they imply that she is educated). Most people don't and STILL realize there are things people who work in place like the CIA CAN'T talk about.

Hmmmm...yeah, that actually is a pretty good description of most of the liberals I've ever encountered. Does it mean every Liberal like is like that? Of course not, but a great deal are.

Funny.....I am a liberal. I also have a very good education, a good job, and a good income. I live in a large metropolis that is just chock full of people like me.....educated, liberal, employed, and well paid.

Funny how that is.

I didn't like her as well. I thought she came off as a selfish, spoiled, narcissistic girl. God, did she have to photograph everything. Their apartment was highlighted by enormous photographs of, what else. her. I guess she was a wanna be model/photographer however it seemed that Snowden was her meal ticket.

reply

Snowden kept telling her he cant reveal his work to her. Turns around and instead tells the world. She was probably salty for a while.

reply

No. but I did want to hit that.

reply

No. but I did want to "hit that". She is smokin' hot.

I've been trying to tell other posters on this board for the longest time that the real story likely was that he was taking bribes from Russia and China for information and that he ran once investigators started looking for the source of the leak.

He probably realized what a huge mistake he made once he ran to Hong Kong and started spinning some tale about how he was exposing the government for spying on Americans, hoping Obama would pardon him or that the public would forgive him. Fat chance of that, lol.

He sold secrets to please that stupid girlfriend and paid the price.

What price did he pay? He's a hero (to most people with superior intelligence) and you're a little b!tch typing on a message board...

reply

I think someday, you're going to be sorely disappointed. I think he was selling secrets for money. The bureaucrats are probably holding this information back out of fear of embarrassment. Guys like Snowden leak stuff quietly to websites like Wikileaks, they don't run from the country and talk to the press like that.

reply

I think he was selling secrets for money.

So? What's wrong with that? It doesn't make him any less of a hero for getting this information into the hands of those who need it... the people.

What's wrong with running from the country and talking to the press?

You seem very confused...

reply

So you're just an idiot...

reply

So you can't back up your claim...

reply

You're just as bad as any comic book fanboy or celebrity superfan who doesn't want to admit their favorite hero is a piece of crap.

reply

You seem to be very confused by the word "hero." Maybe in your fantasy world of black and white Snowden is not a hero to you because, well, he's not wearing that convenient little white hat to let thebricks know "Hey! I'm the hero in the story " but in the real world, those of us with the superior intellect to see it as the grey world it is can see clearly that Snowden is a hero. There is nothing wrong with profiting from selling these secrets or fleeing the country and going on the run. That doesn't make him less heroic unless you're delusional and live in a fantasy world of black and white absolutes. Don't take it so hard, kiddo. Not everyone can be as intelligent as us. 

reply

So, you're mentally ill?

Bye, and I'm blocking you, thanks troll.

Well I think that Santa Claus is real and smokes crack with Brad Pitt and Jesus in Thailand and Honnah Lee while listening to music by Ben Folds Five that no human being including any member of Ben Folds Five has ever heard besides them.

About as verifiable as your "I think."

Never Drumpf! Never Hillary!

reply

To be fair she didn't know what kind of work he was doing and the toll it took on him.

reply

oh and how she was unemployed as well.

Actually she worked as a dance instructor but gave up the job for him...but you'd have to actually pay attention to the movie to know that.

She's the one that recommends he take the job in Hawaii then complains when he is stressed out about it.

Except HE wanted the job and SHE didn't want him to take it, until he developed epilepsy and she thought the job would lower his stress (because he lead her to believe that), and then he got more stressed out so of course she complained. But yeah paying attention to the movie again.

Never Drumpf! Never Hillary!

reply

Funny since Snowden actually calls her out for not working in the film.

Maybe you should pay attention instead of insulting others like a douche bag that you are.
