is that subzeros decendent?

look in the original mk storyline there are 2 subzeros both brothers
bihan the original one who gets killed by scorpian in the first game and kuai lung who adopts his brothers name and eventually becomes grand master
then when the last mk game cameout which was a reboot inside a sequel they change kuai lungs story so he becomes a victum of the cyber initiative and becomes cyber subzero who is eventually killed off by sindel
now if both subzeros are dead in this timeline THEN WHOS SUBZERO IN MKX?
i think it could be a son of one of the brothers since this game is said to span 20+years
my cousin thinks its still kuai lung but that they salveged his body from cyber subzero
then theres a rumor going around saying that scorpion salvegd bihans soul and body after learning that bihan didnt kill his family and escaped with him from the netherrealm
who knows anyway what do you guys think?

Bi Han (Noob Saibot) and Kuai Lung (human and Cyber) Sub-Zero are already dead in MK9. It's a new Sub-Zero, who is one of the two Sub-Zeros in MKX. In the Gamespot interview with Ed Boon, he said that the Lin Kuei will appoint a new Sub-Zero(s). It will explain about the Liu Kuei having a sea of Sub-Zeroes in this game. There are a ton of Sub-Zeros in (Bi Han)Sub-Zero's ending in the first game.

it's also likely that Kuai Liang/Sub-Zero returned from dead raised by Quan Chi

It's likely we're going to have Liu Kang and Kitana coming back as zombies

In Konquest mode in, I think, Deception it's revealed that the Sub-Zeroes aren't from a special family but rather a separate race called Cryomancers. So there's no reason the new Sub-Zero is a direct relation of either Brother. I do wish in the original timeline they revealed more about the race other then they're from outworld and the two brothers are half cryomancer half human.

The new Sub-Zero is working for Raiden the the new comic... but gets a Kamidogu Kurse from a dagger (an artifact kept secret by the Red Dragons) that Kano uses.

I think they're trying to purge the ranks like mad while clinging to old staples.

yeah I know what you mean. Take Cassie for example from what I've seen she plays like Johnny or Stryker with some moves from Sonya but she's a completely new character yet her moves come from 3 previous characters. Don't get me wrong I'm sure I'll still enjoy it, its just wierd that they have one character that plays like 3 previous characters.

The summary for the next one makes me think she'll get murdered by a hesitant Cassie.

... which kinda sucks, because I wouldn't mind if she was just the new Sub-Zero.

It was explained in the comics. Cyber Sub-Zero was resurrected by Quan Chi. But he broke free of his will with the help of his cybernetic brain. So Quan Chi reanimated him back to his human body so he couldn't break free again. Later on, when Raiden used his magic against Quan Chi's necromancy, he managed to restore Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Jax (who were in his presence) back to their former selves. Sub-Zero later on killed Sektor, abolished the cyber initiative and reformed the Lin Kuei as the new Grandmaster. So no, the Sub-Zero you saw in this game is the same Sub-Zero (Kuai Liang) you saw in the last game.
