She is suppose to be in her sixties, but she looks a lot older.

In the Imdb plot synopsis, it says that a woman in her sixties pursues a younger man. But Sally Field literally looks at least 70 something. What do you think?

She actually looks younger. This woman is aging very well.

The only thing would be the crepe (loose skin) on her neck. I am guessing Sally did lose weight for the film. She is a very petite woman. Otherwise, she's aging well.

I think Rynoll meant the character of Doris, not Sally Field in real life....I'm sure the make up artist and the costumer made Sally up to look older than she is.

reply

She's still hot. 

reply

She is 69, so that would put her in her 60's. Lol

reply

Only her hands. She looks in her early 60s. Pretty good movie.

Sally looks great for someone who's almost 70 in real life. If she's had any work done you can tell it's minor stuff and she's growing older gracefully for the most part.

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

My husband thought Doris was supposed to be in her 60's but I thought she was younger because she and her brother were contemporaries and his children were teenaged which puts him in the 40-50 range. Doris was engaged at 24, then she and her brother decided she would take care of mother, so he could got to school. So I'm still thinking she's in her 50s. Also, she left her job to find another job. She'd be more easily employable as a 50 year old.

She's really 69 and I think the only things aging about her are her neck and her hands. Otherwise she looks pretty amazing..especially considering I see no signs she's had any kind of work done. She looks natural.
She's kept her figure too..
I have a feeling that they emphasized the more aging aspects of her appearance and they sure didn't do her any favors with her sense of style....that hair style and rather dowdy clothes.
