about the shooter being Russell. He is currently the top suspect in my mind, BUT now I'm not so sure. Russell has such a distinct walk. The shooter's walk seemed more masculine than Russell's leaving me, once again, at a loss as to who it could be.
yes I guess it was Russel when they raised the flag I guess Russel tried to get Gamby on tape that he said the house on fire. I think he videotaped it.
I definitely think Russell was taping that conversation in hopes that he may get Gamby to somehow confess and he could blackmail him with that evidence to give up his spot as co-principal.
That's one reason I'm not convinced Russell is the shooter. I feel like Russell is more likely to try to coax a confession out of Gamby and record it to blackmail him.
After a rewatch of the season, I am thinking the shooter was probably Blythe Sason. He was Brown's henchman in episode 2 that just disappeared after that. He fits.
Agreed, gimper420. Blythe Sason is definitely not a far-fetched idea. Seeing him come back to team up w/ Brown to take on Gamby/Russell also makes for a more interesting arc.
All jokes aside, its hard to believe Abbott is the shooter because if you think about it, even as Gamby constantly treats her like sh!t, she just disregards his insults and is seemingly still in to him (I think we all know a few girls that like to be treated like sh!t, lol). It does not seem like she would shoot him nor set fire to both cars. At the end of the day, you never know, but it seems unlikely given the story's direction. She'd definitely shoot Snodgrass!

Two great points. Furthermore, if Abbott was willing to blackmail Gamby for having Snodgrass's file as a form of blackmail, why escalate to the crime of shooting? Why not just tell everyone about Gamby's secrets instead?
Thank you, finally! No one else has guess the and it seems very obvious to me. The shooter has long kinky hair and (can't remember character's name) the "henchman" has a ponytail.
