Female characters are awful

Just saying.

Miss Abbot is kind of a unwanted pixie nighmare girl. There's no really good reason she would be that into Gamby in real life. And he treats her like *beep* every time and she keeps wanting him.

Amanda Snodgrass is another wishful thinking character. No way in a million of years she would bang him. But Danny Mcbride is the showrunner, so of course his character has to ged laid with a beautiful woman.

This show has its moments, but the way the female characters are written seems very forced. Its almost if they were written by 12 year old deluded white boys. It's distracting.

agreed. maybe if hi character wasnt so reprehensible.I could see some getting over the stocky frame and even that ridiculous 80's mustache, but that aggressive personality is a deal breaker. I would say a woman in his league would be at least 10 ticks below Snodgrass

She said she didn't like that side of him, but when they went on that date, he was relaxed, confident, happy, having a good time with his daughter and with Snodgrass, etc. Snodgrass said she got to a see a different side of him, and she liked it.

Also, Snodgrass already tried going for the pretty boy and got burned. A lot of women tend to look for "the opposite" after they have a bad experience with a guy. Gamby fits that.

Snodgrass also taught Gamby how to ride the motorbike and was involved in trying to help Gamby get closer to his daughter. Women like to be needed.

Gamby also showed an interest in her writing whereas the other teachers were laughing at it.

I hate all the faces Snodgrass makes. It's like they tried too hard to make her so cute and adorable, but it comes off as annoying...
