Not as good as the first surely, but still a good flick. My complaints were the villain was a bit too obvious early on but not flushed out til the movie was 75% finished. Beyond that his motives were rather unclear to me. He and his team were "disavowed" by the agency (so to speak) so he wants everyone from the agency murdered? This didnt make a ton of sense. Why go to such extremes? This wasnt well detailed at all or perhaps I just missed it? Feel free to explain if I did miss it. Other than that I liked pretty much everything about the film. I dont go into movies looking for reasons to nitpick like a jagoff. I'm not expecting Oscars when I watch a film like this. I'm expected entertainment, and this delivered.

Looking forward to EQ3.

Same sentiments here. From what I understood, he was still a hired gun and killed that Belgium guy and unwittingly brought attention to himself as he didn’t know he was an agent. To get the heat off, he felt he had to kill anyone connected to it. I guess he would have eventually killed his own men.

But he looked too gentle to me. I didn’t buy him as a bad guy.

So since you are not a jagoff, I assume that you loved every Die Hard movie. None of those sucked, right? Big fan of Renny Harlan and Sidaris films too, right?

Die hard 5 was awful. No idea who Harlan is.

Die Hard 5 is certainly worse than Equalizer 2. OK, you pass the test.

I don’t know if I liked this movie

Pros: This is the most beautiful camera work I have ever seen in any movie and I know jack shit about framing and all the technical bullshit but wow, even I can see the thought and beauty that went into each scene.

Denzel was a plus for me too as I like the way he now don’t give a shit and he just Denzel’s his way through movies. He has a message and it comes through clear. Young man, shape up and do better. I love that.

Cons: no real plot development or maybe I missed something. Also it took an hour for the story to get going.

Overall I enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone.

It's an entertaining enough action film.The biggest con for me was that they turned McCall into an unbeatable killing machine.Even against others who are trained as well as him.He's suppose to be an experienced spy not Superman.
