The first thing that came to my mind is the behavior of the character(weak script, or acting) as they second before login to the game or VR, 1 August '44 Its already years of war, the occupation time and at the beginning they seems not to notice that fact.
I know I was supposed to be melancholic, sometimes romantic but it can be done differently.
I was hoping for a good war - drama movie, Poland deserves at last for the this type of production from the top shelf. I was hoping to that they show some good, insurgent actions, scouts sacrifice, but once again i was a little bit disappointed. If the movie was be filmed similarly as a Private Ryan could be realy realy great. The Warsaw Rising story is need to be show brutal reality, and bloody as it was. But thanks to director bloody is only in the too colorized "trap tank" explosion scene (super explosion but with the bloody rain exaggerated, should to show it in a different way).
I have to be commended for some very good scenes and set design(old city) but other things, love scenes inserted in the least appropriate moments.
I was hoping for show some, insurgent military actions. Where was PAST building assault, or other in Downtown.
Where was Prudential assault,or the Karl-Gerät firing ? the spectacular hit ? or *beep* target that bullet stuck in the a few meters in the ground next to the building, etc. Each of these actions should be strongly emphasized in that kind of film.
5/10 + 1 for a good scenes and story, but not how does they show all of it.
