The Reunion
Just saw part 2 it a few minutes ago. The group is going at Christy again like a bunch of high schoolers. Jasmine seems to be jumping the fence-she's becoming a sh!t stirrer like Terra, gradually. Elena is ok. Christy is ok (yeah I said it! Idk why y'all suddenly changing your own dynamic on Briana now that the majority mysteriously left Matt alone and mysteriously blamed Christy for the same thing! No! That hypocrisy doesn't work out in the real world! How can y'all be more tolerant of a concussion/assault than talking to someone?????? And why talk sh!t before he was proven to be a cheater yet pretend he did ok after??????)
Elena needs to chill whenever new women are around the group. I think these women are so used to having themselves at the table that they don't want anyone outside the LP realm to have a critique about them. Like, the AP have to either shut up or say nothing about them. And that doesn't always work because if LP can have normal families, they can have normal friendships, and dwarfism is rare. So why is it all of a sudden not ok to talk about problems with your AP friends and totally fine to talk about it to LP friends??????
They don't like Plastic because they're desperate to be Briana's friend. I seriously felt there was a whole group mentality change for lack of reason. Christy wasn't even half as bad as them talking about Matt which is why their blaming others for what Matt did, apparently. I feel like some people just can't get out of high school, where the majority is always right. If the majority does wrong, people make excuses, but when Christy does, she is spawn of Satan. I tell you, there is always a scapegoat in a high school clique, mainly because of unpopular opinions or something like that. *eyeroll*
Reminds me of LWNY where everyone trashed Dawn for having a different opinion, but not Jason or Lila for having the same opinion. You know, because the two are more 'likeable' (ad hominem, much?) And some of the ATL ones held a grudge over what they perceived as a lie all because Minnie told a lie once?????? Like if you cannot control yourself in front of other people, don't be around them.....I think shows like this further convince naïve folks into saying, 'I'm glad I don't have female friends, they're too catty, blah blah blah!' Not to mention a fight over a logo?????? And accusing folks of 'lies'??????
Disclaimer: In case any of you get in your feelings about my opinions on the group, I am aware this is a 'fake' TV show about very miniscule social behaviors or lack thereof being blown out-of-proportion. Like, for instance, everyone blowing the 'black dwarf' label out-of-proportion yet letting Matt slide after calling them 'little oomps'. Folks debating whether Christy 'went behind her back', folks debating Christy's 'intentions' even though she was nice, folks bringing up old petty things, *eyeroll* The only things real about the show are the health conditions they have, who is family of whom, and their names.
