Why Nickelodeon has somehow equated tomboys with rednecks? And filthy rednecks at that? This skit on Awesome TV and the previews for this movie are insulting to any girl who isn't girly. Talk about a feminist backlash in society these days.

She's an extreme tomboy, not yer average tomboy. There was one on MTV's Made that makes Terry seem like princess Diana, yet she was gorgeous underneath the dirt, grime, swearing and spitting. In fact she looked a lot like Natalie Portman when they transformed her.

I have trouble believing anything on MTV is real. There's no such thing as an "extreme" tomboy. I had a friend in high school who would dress in boys' flannel and spit and was dirty sometimes--but that's because she had a drug problem, not because she was a "tomboy".
shareSuper tomboys are highly within the realm of possibility. I only mention the MTV one for reference, and juxtaposition to her looks, but I personally knew one. She now plays pro league soccer. Trust me she was WAYYY rougher than Terry though not nearly as pretty.
