better than tintin

Two totally different genres, you can't even compare them. For the record, Tintin is way better, both as a comic and a movie (but mainly as a comic). Asterix is simply for children with gags and light political banter, Tintin is an all-encomposing masterwork. I'm offended, to put it lightly.

Asterix is not even in the same league as Tintin. One is a witty comedy centered on a belligerent Gaul and his adventures while Tintin is about a sleuthing teenager who is involved in a massive complex plot with international criminals, mafia and what not. But Asterix comics is more enjoyable of the two.
