My guess is that this will bomb, the premise has been done to death, my guess, judging formthe trailer is that this will be another film thats gonna rely on jump scares rather then have any meaningful advancement to film entertainment, or the found footage genre.
Saw it today via preview screener DVD - it was beyond awful. There is exactly one jump scare surrounded by inane dialogue, barf-making cinematography and one visible on-screen death. If this thing scores above 5% on RT I'll be very surprised.

It's now 17 yrs since the Blair Witch Project came out..
Movie companies should have learned by now it's no longer 'fun' to watch such movies.
Every idiot who walks in with such a script should be crucified in front of the entrance with a warning:
"Caught with a found footage script"..
"Gar nicht so übel, du kleine Schlampe. Man sieht sich immer zweimal, Kleine."
