Can anyone clarify who is suzu's mother, where is she? It appears that the father, who passed away, had three wives, the mother of the three older sister, suzu's mother and the last one, when he passed away, who had a little boy as well, who then is half brother to all the girls. Is this correct?
shareSuzu's mother is the second wife whom three sister's father started an affair and who died shortly after they run away to Sendai. Then Suzu's father found a job as a taxi driver at the hot spring in Yamagata and married the third wife with a little boy. Three sisters were worried what would happen to Suzu left alone with the step mother . The little boy is not related to any of the sisters as far as blood is concerned.
