Angela Bassett should've.....
Set this entire movie during the Waiting to Exhale filming and Angela bassets relationship with whitney.

Angela should've just made the movie begin when she was cast in Waiting to exhale and make the movie about Angela's relationship with whitney and Angela's point of view. What angela witnessed during filming. What whitney talked about during filming. What the onset dynamics was etc.

I know this movie is about Whitney and Bobby but i feel like the only people who knew what went on with Whitney and Bobby was whitney and Bobby and that story is bobby's story to tell.

Bobby's story to tell? He just lies! In every interview I've seen of him he contradicts himself. Your idea about Angela doing a movie about her relationship with Whitney and the waiting to exhale era is good but producers would never greenlight such a project. It's all about money and they need a bigger story line.

The movie was terrible. I expected more out of Angela. I feel it should have never been made. It doesnt seem like she had much room to tell the story she probably set out to tell and it ended up being this garbage. Should have been left on the cutting room floor.
