I'm from Europe, can someone please explain the voting?

I live in Europe and the show will soon debut in Hungary. I checked out the US version to see what's it like, and I enjoyed it. However, I have some problem understanding how the voting goes.

So, does the show air live at the same time everywhere, or is it like "East Coast first, West Coast second"?

I may have misunderstood, but the host said that the WC viewers could save those who didn't get enough votes from the EC viewers. Yet, I didn't see anything like that. Who didn't get 70% was simply eliminated. I'm assuming this means that the show doesn't air simultaneously in all time zones, but I might be wrong.

Or will it be revealed in the next episode if there were any contestants that were saved by the West Coast?

Luckily, this won't be a problem in Hungary. Anyway, I really like the show, though it should cut down on commercial breaks. Can't wait for this week's episode.

This show is also coming to the UK. The format seems to work better for a country that only has one time zone.

In the US I think they should have different acts for EC and WC, this second chance nonsense isn't going to work.
