Disney does better with Star Wars when they abandon the Skywalker Story

This, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and The Mandalorian are prime examples that Disney does better with Star Wars when they're not bound to the Skywalker arc. The latter got ruined with The Last Jedi and Rise Of Skywalker just sucked.

Solo sucked and flopped ...

This one and the mandalorian are quite tied to the (original) Skywalker saga ...

True but they're also different for the most part and feel fresh despite being tied back to the OT in the end.

I liked Solo for what it was. Definitely not perfect but was better than the last two films in the sequel trilogy.
