Cool! I still can’t imagine subscribing to their channel but I’m sure I will see this somehow. I hope they bring back the droid also.

A prequel of a prequel?

Lordy.

A prequel of a prequel, set after the prequels.

reply

"Yo dawg, I heard you like watching prequels, so we put a prequel before your prequel, so you can watch before you watch."

Good one! I used to love that show.

Is that the same one former MMA fighter Gina Carano is going to be on?

reply

No, that's "The Mandalorian", with a timeline set after Episode 6.

reply

Ok thanks

Not sure why they keep focusing on this particular nugget of the timeline. It's not very interesting. Maybe it's the most budget-lite era of Star Wars history to work with. There's not tons of epic space battles and alien planets and aliens to deal with.

I think the answer is simple: Fans love Darth Vader.

reply

Well let's get a show about young Darth Vader learning how to use his new body as he sweeps across the cosmos irradiating all good in the universe! Forget Game of Thrones and Walking Dead. People would go berserk for that.

I would like to see Vader set up by the story as a relatively good guy. Imagine him coming across a group of violently abusive slavers, which triggers memories of his mother and of his childhood on Tatooine. Then imagine him delivering some sweet dark side justice.

reply

For sure. The latest Darth Vader run in the comics dealt with this stuff and it was pretty damn interesting. Vader continues to be a complicated character at war with his nature, just like he was as Anakin.
