I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned this. If you have read the book you'll already know this. I always love how Stephen king links his books together - this story is linked with Deloris Claiborne. When she tells of the dream she had from the bottom of a well during the eclipse, this is actually the end of DC. Both stories are set on the same day and opposite sides of the lake from each other.
