If you were in charge of casting Gerald's Game, who would you pick for the roles of:

Jessie Burlingame?
Gerald Burlingame?
Raymond Andrew Joubert (the Space Cowboy)?

And to a lesser extent:

Tom, Sally, Goody, Ruth, & Nora? (IF they even go the route of casting those roles)

Sooo looking forward to seeing the movie! I'm going to read the book again asap! =)

Hmmm, for Gerald, I would go with either Ralph Fiennes or Billy Bob Thorton. Not sure about Jessie yet.

For Joubert, I'm thinking somebody like Steve Buscemi uglied up.

I'm gonna re-read the book, but I think Gerald is described as being pudgy with dark hair, Jessie with dirty blonde hair. They're both nearing 40 in age, right? I'm not sure who I'd cast for them yet. Maybe Diane Lane for Jessie? Hmmm...

Thinking of Diane Lane made me think of Ashley Judd for some reason. She was great in Bug and could pull this off.

I'm drawing blanks otherwise.

It will be interesting to see if Jessie is in the same state as she is in the book; naked except for sheer panties and handcuffed to a bed. I'm wondering if Flanangan will cast his wife and co-writer (and star of Hush) Kate Seigel?
