WTH is Sidney doing in accepting the female fatale's character offer to have a drink and allowing himself to be seduced by her? Of course, he finally declined her advances and tried to report her to the police (then she went berserk), but boy, for a moment I thought he was going to sleep with her as well.

They're definitely making Sidney to be a sex symbol, with all the female characters in in the show falling for him. Yes, James Norton is a handsome fellow, but having all the women in the show falling for him is getting a bid ridiculous .

I don't think she was into him at all; she was a femme fatale (though a victim too), she played men to achieve what she wanted and she was clearly playing Sidney, and so was he. It was a battle of minds and wills, a very sexy one indeed, but that's all it was.

I agree, it was a brilliant scene. The OP does make a great point though about all the female characters falling for Sid. I think it would be great to add a female character that doesn't think he's so hot and challenges him, a tough beautiful character like Sarah Bunting from Downton Abbey.

It's the running joke at my house when we watch that when a woman shows up her next line to Sidney is, "Kiss me" ?

And we can bet that Sidney will take off his clothes and show his amazing bods every other episode or so :-).
