Still sucks even with Morgan and Sherry

I was flipping around the channels and saw Sherry and burnt face guy, so I gave this show another chance after bailing during season 1. Even good, familiar characters like Morgan and Sherry can't save this crap. There weren't even any zombies the entire episode. Lame!

In the early seasons, the only value of this show for me was the discussion on the imdb boards. Mostly about how bad it was. That faded when imdb shut down, so I stopped watching.

I started to like there show finally when they injected Morgan, John Dorie, Althea, and June into the mix ... in other words, boldly and powerfully redid the entire show. But now it is flagging again. Virginia and her incompetent totalitarian regime is alternately making me mad and putting me to sleep.

I never made it that far. I'll never forgive them for what they did to Morgan's character in the original series.

Morgan is like a new different character from TWD to FTWD ... much better and more interesting, and also more of a lead character.

This show has spiraled downward, with maybe one exception at one point, but I don't think it can be saved now. They even killed my favorite character in the last episode.

What the hell are you talking about? This season has been the best season of the entire series so far. It’s never been a great show but it’s almost great this season. Even the IMDb ratings agree with me.

I was also really sad that they killed John but it made for some great shocking television.

What the hell am I talking about? This show pretty much sucks. You know how there are petitions to keep a show on the air? This show has a petition to cancel it. lol And yes, there have been a few good episodes lately, and a few spread out here and there, but that doesn't make this show "almost great" or even good overall.

I actually like Morgan and he's been given a lot more to do, and has become the substitute main character. Yes, he flip flops a lot and it can be frustrating at times, but I'll take Morgan over watching Alpha and Negan, who make my eye roll every week. I still want to see where Morgan ends up, or how he gets out of a predicament and stays alive. I do not care what happens to Alpha and Negan and wished for them to leave the TV screen (and one of them did...).

Sherry, on the other hand, has been terribly handled. She does feel very one-note and inexplicably whiny whenever near Dwight. Dwight risked his life and crossed a dangerous country to find her...a one-in-a-million chance...and she seems to not even care and would rather hang out with the lame Hockey Mask Gang.
