They could of taken that Horde

Spoilers for episode 5x15 so be warned!

I think Morgan and the gang gave up to easily calling Virginia for help at the end of the episode. First, they may of had a better chance at having the cars and rig go over the bridge. But since Virginia decided to show up and blast the skies with sounds to drive a horde toward them, for them to call her now and say "We need your help" is ludicrous. How can you ask someone for help if they themselves caused a situation to escalate. I believe they could of fought off all the Walkers before going over the bridge. If anything they could of all piled up into the back of the big rig and hid from them as the Walkers just walked on by.

Are we to assume that the first big rig made it across along with Al's hummer thing? Because in the scene following the destruction of the bridge, Al's in the back of the truck scrolling through footage and everyone else is sitting next to it outside. I would not think that they walked under the bridge back to the truck and hummer for no reason other than to just make a coffin for Tom.

The Humbug's Gulch horde, the same thing. While in the preview for the next episode it does show them possibly driving the horde out and taking the Gulch, they should of considered trying then instead of calling Virginia. Sure it's a lot of Walkers but they've taken on a Horde before. That just doesn't seem like the gang to just give up so quickly at a horde. All they'd have to do is just go to a place at a part of the fenced in Gulch and distract the Walkers long enough for someone to make a hole to then have the Walkers pile through it. Perhaps follow said person so far, patch the hole and take care of the strays inside the Gulch.

First off, sort your grammar out mate. "could of" -> "could have" or "could've" as well as "may of" -> "may have".

But yes I agree. And I can think of a quite simple solution off the top of my head:

1. move all people a bit away from gulch
2. open at least one gulch gate/door.
3. have the people make some noise.
4. wait .... then close all gates/doors.
5. all walkers outside the gulch!

I agree they could have and should have taken that horde! Them calling Virginia for help was one of the most stupid things I've ever seen!

I've stuck it out from the beginning and have tried to have faith in this show but at this point I have to say it's gotten so bad! It just goes from bad to worse! Poor decisions, fireside feel-good videos, forcing help on people that don't want it. It's as though the writers really don't want people to watch.

Yeah, they were *very* quick to give up.

After all that build-up (over several episodes); all those motivational speeches, "commercials" and the "we're doing the right thing" mentality...
Within *less than a minute* they'd decided to sell their souls.

Actually, they were in no immediate danger. Taking a breather for a few minutes - or even hours - and thinking about it *was* an option.

reply

Absolutely! The whole thing made absolutely no sense and was completely out of character for everyone!

It's the writers. They really need new writers because the ones they have now are going to get this show cancelled.

I strongly disagree. I believe they should encourage the writers so to get the show canceled. ;)

And they all agree to see their lives being ruled by some evil fascist redhead.

The ending is ridiculous. If Morgan had a gun or a blade in his pocket, Ginny had no chance.

Morgan could also kill her with his stick while Ginny prefers to tell sh*t rather than having a gun in her hand.

In fact the smart thing to do was to kill the zombies at HumBug's Gulch. 300 zombies, no problem.

Dwight found water in no time. And if you don't have food, well you just kill a horse, and you eat it.

This show is dead. I've never seen something as boring and stupid as this one.

One problem is the wooden fence surrounding the place was really weak. It likely kept them in because they were just chillin walkers ambling about. But when they turn to angry horde mode all bunched up into a ball, they were able to start breaking the fence.

I just thought it was funny....Dwight says there must be water because the horses are there.......next to a river......

Yeah.
