Fear the Walking Dead. the show any good?

Mostly mediocre. Sometimes frustrating. A few good episodes.
Not better than TWD in any way.

Actually the first 2 or 3 seasons are ( way ) better.

But then it turns into the same crap.

Season 1 is good, 2 and 3 depends on which characters you like, dont like, and your tolerance for erratic story arcs. season 4 is a big step up from previous seasons. Season 5 looks interesting so far, but could go either way. They have a lot of stuff to work with.

When I saw Season 1, I was skeptical....but first season so I thought maybe it would get better Season 2. After the third episode of Season 2, I stopped watching. I could not connect with ANY of the characters and some I was wishing would die.

When I read that the Morgan character was moving over, I gave it another shot and actually liked it and the new characters and was glad that the annoying ones were killed off. I've never gone back to rewatch what I missed, it isn't necessary.

I really enjoyed the first 3 episodes of Season 1, after that it just turns into West Coast TWD, though these people we're supposed to be rooting for seem a bit more sinister at times.

Here's a thought...watch it and judge for yourself!

I like the characters and the show. It doesn't have the gravitas of TWD but I think it stand on its own pretty well. Good character arcs and builds, same as in TWD.

1-3 were enjoyable, with all of their flaws.
4-5 have been mostly unwatchable.

I do wish there was a trully brutal zombie survival show out there.
