I know a lot of people were actually expecting this from Fear the Walking Dead. You know, a show about the onset of the zombie apocalypse.
Of course, we only got "9 days later."
The only explanation that could possibly make sense is if the initial outbreak caused spontaneous turning. If a large percentage of the population just suddenly turned in an unexpected manner, then maybe I could see such a widespread downfall.
But if it were limited to just the dead reanimating, then there's just no way.
The show Black Summer on Netflix is what FTWD should have been. Early story about the collapse of civilization.
Plus, instant turning running zombies. Very dangerous.
Yes. We were all looking forward to how the outbreak started, how civilization fell.....that lasted not even half a season
