A big Hotel and the refugee stay in the parking lot

Madison must believe herself to be so generous , she almost didn't allow the refugee enter the gate , but now she allow them to stay in the Hotel's Parking Lot.

What give the American woman the right to have control over the Hotel ?
At the moment there more than enough room for most refugee to get a room , they may have to clean up the dead zombie , but a dirty room is still batter than camping at the parking lot

The Mexican Refugee just allow her to boss them around , like second class citizen in their own country .

Just like Travis , Chris and the fraternity brothers spending a week in the barn when there is a nice house 25 yards away. lol I guess it just did not occur to them

They have the room, but limited supplies/food. You can't just let everyone in. More people, more problems. Where do you draw the line? It has nothing to do with treating Mexican's bad in their own country. They rightfully took over the hotel & cleared it out. They made rules & stuck to their own rules which is why they left.

Letting them inside would drain their resources eg electricity, water, etc.

They didn't want to let them in the first place, but Travis came along and they bum rushed the gate.

They wanted to contain them and scrutinize them. Lay down the rules. Like someone said, there are limited supplies and things have to be rationed. Plus people have to contribute to the community on all levels.

I think they were just sorting them out.

But the Refugee are already outnumber Madison's group , Outside or inside the gate , they have no way of enforcing any rule until they get a sufficient number of people on their side .

Putting them in the Parking lot and while Madison's friend are living comfortably , it only enrage them further , it is only a matter of time before they start a revolution

If you paid attention, they explained what they were going to do. They would check everybody, then make a decision on who gets to stay and who didn't and what to do with those who didn't get to stay. They were obviously still in the quarantine stage.
