Binge Watched season 1

Since i am impatiently waiting for TWD to come back on, i decided to binge watch FTWD and the reason behind it is that season 2B was an improvement, perhaps they changed writers or something idk...

I can say that its not that bad, like some say its barely watchable, i mean yeah it still lacks something that TWD has, i loved the pilot but episodes 2,3,4,5 were mostly boring tbh and then it became interesting again in the finale, nevermind the fact that they ignored logic for the storytelling many times(happens on TWD too)

still it was bit interesting to see different story of the beginning of the apocalypse even tho they could've done it way better, tell us more about the outbreak, about the virus and things like that, and could've written more interesting characters or cast better actors with the budget they have.

so all in all season 1 had some interesting moments but mostly boring, its better to binge watch it
just like season 2 of True Detective

i'm gonna binge season 2 also, its definitely better than season 1, except few episodes from that ranch/farm where Strand's boyfriend was, those couple of episodes were just so. *beep* bad. terrible dialogs, boring and cringy moments that made me want to crawl under the desk and cry for hours...

and the scenery in this show is just beautiful

Memorable episodes: 1x01, 1x06, 2x02,03 and the other half of season 2 is great

I'm really curious about "that something"; For me it's the other way around : TWD lacks so much things we have in FTWD.
And the characters, the setting, the plots have become so much more interesting in 2 seasons of FTWD than in 6 of TWD.

For me it's the characters. Up until recently I wanted every character in FTWD to die slowly and horribly. Now I only want most of the characters to die slowly and horribly, mainly Madison. Travis is actually OK now.

Almost every character in TWD (with the exception of Lori, Andrea and Dawn) I've loved, or I st least disliked them in the way the creators intended (like Gabriel). The acting is also a million times better on TWD overall (not to say everyone's bad on FTWD).

I often find myself getting constantly frustrated over FTWD while with TWD I've only ever gotten frustrated a couple of times in it's 6-season run - mainly the Hospital storyline in Season 5 and Glenn's fakeout death in Season 6. Not even the Season 6 cliffhanger annoyed me too much and looking back I think it was a good choice.

Agreed. For me, another big part of it is the fact that the fear actors still don't seem like they've gotten into their roles yet. Whereas with TWD, the actors are into their roles the second they come onto the show. Fear is also lacking in the character development area and the overall story. I admit the last couple episodes have gotten better though and I'm looking forward to season 3. I can wait though lol. Don't want to rush through TWD. The main purpose of Fear for me is to give us something TWD related to watch during the off-season, and that's it. It does alright in that regard
