Who fu@king cares about walkers when the story is well written. Walking Dead rarely has walkers and no one ever seems to complain.

LOL, I actually like the Strain as well as this show. "Whaa there weren't any walkers on the show tonight WHAAAA!!!"
I'm not expecting a masterpiece when I watch these shows and it cracks me up how many people come on these boards simply to bitch all the time. I got an idea, change the channel and don't watch the show if you don't enjoy it or feel the need to pick it apart for every little thing. Personally, I thought this was one of the best episodes yet

Why not have just had everyone die of a plague except some survivors and call it Fear the Survivors and drop the whole walking dead angle all together if they're not going to have the dead in it?

The survivors ARE the walking dead.
It's kind of like the phrase "dead man walking".

Nope. ONLY Rick sees it that way. And that was when Rick lost hope and had given up and believed they were all doomed and on borrowed time.
Before Negan, Rick didn't seem to feel that way anymore. He had hope for their future and survival in Alexandria.

The only walkers seen tonight were on the beach when Alicia and Madison were talking. But to put walkers in tonight I think wasn't needed to be honest.It was mostly filled with the flashbacks of Nick/Chris. Also these types of episode always happen and have happened in TWD aswell. The filler episodes where they do these types of thing to advance the storyline. Yeah it was a bit of a boring episode but there needed to progress the story and nonstop action wouldn't help the show imo.

As time goes on, there will be and should be less walkers. The outbreak happened days/weeks ago. Bodies decay and die, even the undead.
