Yeah, it was awful. Started off as a little bit funny, but then it just got lame. The Conan O'Brien cameo was awful and didn't fit in with the rest of the movie; it felt tacked on.

I hear that pretty often about the movies on Syfy. I find all of them not too good, very predictable, but entertaining. I love movies with anything giant like spiders, ants, sharks, etc.

What are you talking about? Sharktopus finally takes his rightful place in the pantheon of heros. Like an occidental "Gamera". Fantastic!
