Somebody Help Me Here - POSSIBLE SPOILER

I just saw this for the first time last night.

When Ghidorah was revived, Dr. Serizawa's assistant was among those killed. Yet later on in the movie she is alive and well and hugs him when he prepares to go on his solo mission. Did I miss something?

reply

Twins. It's the nod to the twins in the Mothra movies.

reply

Thank you.
How did I miss twin scientists? Note to self: Never start watching movie at 10:00 at night.

reply

It's referenced in photographs when she talks about her lineage.

reply

It was on HBO a few nights ago. I was paying attention. I realize now that it was the Caucasian female scientist who was killed. My mistake.

reply

You waited all this time to watch the greatest Godzilla film of all time. Why?

reply

Watched again.

reply

BTW: 1954 was the Best Godzilla film.

reply

That movie was so slow paced. It also had such a lame ending. At least the 2014 version had a thrilling climax

reply

At least it doesn't depend on CGI to carry the story.

reply

But the movie you liked had a man in a rubber suit stomping on miniature cities and match box cars. Isn't CGI better than that?

reply

Don't get me wrong. I liked KOTM but the original will almost always be the one that the imitators have to live up to.

reply

But my point is to why complain about the use of CGI? The alternative is a man in a rubber suit walking over paper made miniature buildings and cars

reply

I have my opinion. You have your opinion. There is no wrong answer. I'm leaving it at that.
