Rating Rant

I don't expect that much from these little American TV movies and this one is just about OK. But the high rating, 7.8 from 61 viewers (at least I assume they have actually watched the film), is a bit silly.
This is an unrelentingly positive, christian film. It's not that they mention God in every sentence but everyone 'feels moved to do the the right thing' and become happier and more fulfilled in the process. I'd assumed this was an honest reaction from American viewers but the stats show most of the ratings are non-USA!
I apologise in advance if my bemusement offends anyone but really folks - is this film on a par with Breakfast at Tiffany's or Lost in Translation?
