I just saw the movie and I gotta say I really did enjoy it. Dianna Agron did an amazing job. The only thing I had a hard time with was watching Paz de la Huerta. She has the most hideous face ever so it was hard to buy that Sarah would fall in love with her, but I kept watching thinking she would be a good actress, but her acting was horrible. When the guy went to get his money and was man-handling her, she sounded so calm and fake didn't even sound like she was scared. It was just so horrible to watch her trying to act.

Yeah, but that's the charm. I think she was also good in Enter the Void.

Maybe... I mean just MAYBE you should take into consideration that that is the character she is meant to play in this? She has a carefree attitude plus it's also apparent she's either a junkie or a boozer. I mean, she sells drugs for a living at the local strip joint! I think they hardened up her appearance to convey this fact. IMO she was a lot better in this acting-wise than she was in Enter the Void. If you're just looking for a pretty face with lots of sex scenes, I'd recommend that film over this one. ETV was not quite as deep as people made it out to be compared to what was also made in that genre the same time it came out.

Paz reminds me of a cross between Liv Tyler and a young Matt Dillon.

I didn't even notice if her acting was bad or not, I was distracted by her horrid face.

At first I thought they uglied her up for the role, but then I googled her and discovered that's how she really looks.

She looks like she used to be pretty but then someone convinced her to get those ridiculous collagen filled lips and now she looks ridiculous.

Of all the cosmetic surgeries I think the lips are the worst. They never ever ever end up looking good.

I know what you mean. Pepper really grossed me out. I don't see how someone could want to touch her, let alone fall in love with her! She is such a low life. I guess that means the actress did a good job!
