Which year was Dollar born?

So we see the baby Dollar being born in the '1999' part, but then in '2014' he is shown minor than a 10 year old boy, when he would be around 15. Since the main characters (Tao and her two friends) doesn't change a bit during that span of time, I thought ...well, ok. But then during the '2025' part, Dollar claims to have not seen his mother since he was 7, so... I guess we are supposed to asume that during the first segment of the movie, 8 years passed to have the baby born, in 2007.

Great movie btw, I enjoyed especially the third act.

Yep, that does seem like a pretty major plot hole now that I think about. Also, interesting that you liked the 3rd act especially... I thought it was the worst part.

Well, she wasn't married in 1999. That may have happened a year or two later. Then, the pregnancy might not have been immediate, so figure she had the baby two years later. (She might have had a daughter ior two n between that they didn't keep.)

So, boy born in 2007,

Boy seven years old in 2014.

Boy 18 or so in 2025.

I agree it's not completely explained, but it's relatively plausible.
