What I didn't like about the ending *** serious spoilers ***

I have seen the whole series so please stop reading now if you don't wish to know what happens at the end.

It appears the bodyguard gets to abscond with the $80 million, What bothers me is: isn't he the one who is ultimately responsible for Nick's death?

If the money had made it to Victor Holley's account, the child would have been released back to his father and Holley would not have given the order to have the child killed. Everybody else gets poetic justice. What about this albeit drop-dead gorgeous guy?

The handsome man didn't want the child killed, it looked like he wanted to release the boy; it was the skanky woman who killed him.

"The Handsome Man" definitely wanted to release the boy, but "the skanky woman" only killed the boy on Victor's orders because he didn't get his money. She may have lied to the handsome man about it at first, but I believe she was telling the truth in the van scene later. Now, Victor may have given the order no matter what to tie up loose ends, but the bodyguard wouldn't have known that for sure beforehand. To me, he was the most guilty person in the whole movie, aside from maybe the Governor.

What about Ron Pritchard, the boss of the main character Danny Ferman? What were his implications in the case?

He tried to manipulate evidences and avoid Danny discover the truth, but in the end he ended up just fine without facing its guilt.

I think some characters should have another ending for their story...
