Q-Tip on The Maya Rudolph Show Theme music?

Heard what sounded like Q-Tip from a Tribe Called Quests voice performing on it ....and when I looked it up saw that one of his collaborators Rapheal Saadiq was the bandleader .....that and the fact that his group famously used Maya's mother's music in some of their productions helps me to believe that my ears were not deceiving me.....
