I don't know if anyone here remembers the shortlived HBO reality show satire "The Comeback" starring Lisa Kudrow (which, coincidentally, is coming back this November), but "#CandidlyNicole" reminds me of it a lot. I honestly don't think they're trying to convince anyone that this is a 'proper' reality show; from the way it's shot, edited, etc. it plays out more like a satire/spoof, IMO.

Regardless, I'm enjoying it. I haven't watched a 'reality' show since "The Simple Life", back in the day, but I did always enjoy watching Nicole. She's much better away from Ms. Hilton.

I realized during the second episode that this was a spoof series and I actually love it even more now. She's making fun of herself/acting but, the outside people that she interacts with believe that it is a reality show and Nicole is an absolute nutcase and it's hilarious

I watched episode 3 last night and it really is beyond obvious this is a mockumentary-type sitcom. It's just too set up to pass off as a reality show. They even have a Cast in the end credits, haha!

Nicole was hilarious swishing around the Harvest party with that giant white feather. You're right: she's a (very entertaining) nutcase!
