i wouldnt call this

I wouldnt call this reality TV. I think alot of the situations are very scripted and such. But i do however think it is entertaining, i have always liked Nicole Richie.

Yea. The situations are so fake but I don't even care. She's so funny.

reply

Oh, yea, totally set up but hilarious! I'm glad to see her back on tv :-)

Of course it's set up. That's the point, it's supposed to be over the top.

reply

Agreed. It's obviously scripted, but highly entertaining.

Never forget who you are, for surely the world won't. Make it your strength.

The situations may be scripted. Overall though Nicole is Nicole, so her being hilarious is pretty real lol.

reply

I agree with you.

Every sin is an escape from emptiness.

Episode 3 totally had ACTORS playing the "moms from school". That took things too far!

Yeah, it's definitely NOT reality tv (althouth reality tv is scripted to a degree as well). But this is almost entirely scripted - maybe Nicole ad-libs a tiny bit here and there - but this is almost sitcom level. Which is totally fine by me because I find her highly entertaining. I feel like the US is finally starting to take a page from many UK shows that are similar to this where it's sort of like reality tv but then, not (steve coogan and rob brydon's the trip come to mind).

You're all missing the point. It's sort of a mockureality style show. Kind of like how Chris Lilley does with his Ja'mie character or his latest Jonah from Tonga, except Nicole plays a HIGHlariously dramatized version of herself. It's not meant to be taken seriously because it's comedy. This isn't her real life.
