Culpepper is not racist

He is merely not politically correct. There is a big difference, even though the PC lobby wants to blur the difference.

But I don't find Culpepper evil. At all.. Stubborn and set in his ways. In PC, yes. But I've never seen him be hateful about it. And Josh has been portrayed as a good guy.. In fact I can't say the show really had painted anyone as.. "Evil".

To be fair, "ama" has been a lot crueller than Cristela's boss. lol

That's a really bad excuse. Culpepper is racist, he asked Cristela in the first episode how great of a swimmer she must be, referencing Mexican immigrants crossing the boarder illegally. If someone is gona make a racist joke, they can't get upset when people assume they're racist.. And to just use that "oh he's just not politcally correct!" line? I'm Latina myself. I don't even use that "politically correct" bs, it's just some stupid line racist people use so they won't feel bad about making racist jokes. Just because he's nice to Cristela sometimes doesn't mean he can't be racist. He comes off as racist in the first episode. He's a rich white lawyer(and I'm aware not all are), it's not really that surprising to me.
