I'd like to know the real reason.....

This show is funny.....

I'd love to know the real reason it was cancelled..... it was sandwiched in between two successful shows on a Friday night and there just doesn't seem to be a logical reason they let it go.

What? "Anti-white"? Since when the hell is making jokes about white people "anti-white"? White folks weren't the only ones watching the show---in fact, they aren't the only people watching TV, for that matter----everything dosen't have to be about them and what they watch. For one thing, it didn't look like the show was even promoted that often once it came on, so I pretty much forgot about it.

Cristela could've worked, but they chose to make it ethnic and stupid. The canned laughter didn't hel

Ethnic does not equal "stupid". Where the hell did you get that from? I've seen white shows that were lame as hell, and not even remotely funny, but lasted for years anyway (Yes,Dear and the that '80s Bob Newhart show, for example.) The George Lopez made some ethnic jokes, but that show was actually funny.

I don't think it was racist. It was just not funny, the actors, especially Cristela, said her lines, waited for the canned laughter and continued. Unfortunately hardly anything that came out of her mouth was funny. Dr. Ken is also terrible. Both have horrible writers.

Now Black-ish has been said to be racist and for some people it may be but I think it is a lot funnier than Cristela or Dr. Ken.

"Vulgarity is no substitute for wit".

Can you provide an example of the racism you are referring to? I'm not seeing it. I see many references to racial issues, but I don't see racism at all. Are you referring to the racist comments from the boss? Those are obvious attempts to bring awareness to real-life racist issues. The show itself is not being racist in those dialogues.

Why can't you provide one or two examples? I am asking you to articulate your thoughts by drawing on specific examples from the show as support. Why can't you do that?
