Is season 2 only 8 episodes?

I know that a British series is typically between 6-8 (on occasion 10) episodes long. But I love this show so much. I would even be happy with another 2 episodes, but my DVR has it ending with episodes "Work" and then "Holiday." The only thing that I am looking forward to, after the end of season 2, is watching any new things that are posted on YouTube. I think I watched all of the YouTube content, but I am hoping for more. I didn't even know that they had a YouTube "show" until I got an email from The BBC YouTube page before the first American airing of the second season of Almost Royal. Anyone who hasn't seen the YouTube content, simply MUST!! It is at times, nearly funnier than the show.
