so bad

Such an bad film. Couldn't understand a word Travolta said (and no subtitles to help), the line men characters did little that was impressive or heroic (despite looking very serious all the time), it seemed that any idiot could become a line man, the plot was woeful. The film is really a weak drama about the private lives of a few linemen. There was literally very little time in the film spent showing the line men characters at work on the lines, and having emergencies they had to deal with. I guess its a pretty boring and one dimensional job, so maybe there really wasn't much to show that looked exciting (unlike firefighters, who's job is exciting). All up, a terrible effort.
