This season more real?

I never heard of this show but watched the first two eps of this season. Seems like a lot of criticism of season one with producers setting stuff up. Looks like there are no "producers" this season on the island (and also no women) and the show seems fairly realistic. Looks like people are tapping out pretty quick.

I would say my memory is not what it used to be. But I don't remember what my memory used to be.
