Yeah the nanny was crazy granted but the mom was a pushy bitch who didn't want to watch her own child but treated the nanny badly because her daughter liked her. She was pissed over a violin but couldn't be arsed to practice with her.

The sitter kindly cleaned their house and the mom went off on her, she could have just said thank you but I like doing the chores instead of making the situation so uncomfortable and then she finds out the sitters father was abusing her and instead of offering support she fires her on the spot.

Absolutely agree here. Nothing excuses how she treated her granted Heather had delusions about her "mother" and was attracted to the dad... But here's another thing.... Ever think the mum threw her out the window to shut her up?? I mean she did also lie to him and said she aborted when clearly she didn't.... Yes she told Heather the car accident story but that was a fill in, and we saw no evidence or emotion there.... ?????????....... Something gotta give.....

Baby from unconscious male rape???? Not sure I get it........... Does this leave the film open for a sequel??????

It wasn't shown but I think he did have an affair with her.
Firstly as you said there couldn't be a baby if he was unconscious so there must have been more sex.
Secondly he apologised to his wife when she found out. You don't apologise if you've done nothing wrong.
Thirdly he admitted to the cop at the end that they had "relations". Again relations is not being drugged once it suggests ongoing sex.
Finally the way he eventually wanted her sacked when he wanted to end the relationship. If he was unconscious he would not have even known what she did.

I have no doubt they were sleeping together more than once

Agree. The nanny was crazy but with good reason. She was abandoned at birth and then put in a foster home where she was sexually abused. You'd think the mum would have some sympathy after abandoning her own baby the same way and maybe try to get her help. Instead she fires her and throws her out a window.

I hated the mum in this movie. She deserved to get thrown out the window.
