I liked hearing them compare their whitehouse correspondents dinner experiences. Colbert roasted the president and Wilmore roasted the correspondents. Both of them were pretty brutal and neither of them got much love from the room. I think Colbert did a better job, but he had an easier job too, Bush was such an easy target it was looking shooting fish in a barrel. Nevertheless he was an expert marksman.

shareNot to disparage Wilmore in his WHCD performance, but Colbert was just sizzling, even given that he had an easy target.
Anyway, I enjoyed the conversation between these two comedians on The Late Show and their camaraderie and nostalgia for their Comedy Central days and association with Jon Stewart.
