reply

M. Night Shyamalan appears in his own cookery show in the film!

It's that man again!!

reply

Actually it is a sequel to Hitchcock's The Lady Vanishes. She turns up in a van on some guys driveway and everyone tries to figure out how she got there. Hitchcock had written the sequel but he was waiting for Margaret Lockwood to get older to film it, and then he died.

reply

We will all die waiting for Margaret Lockwood to get older. Am I right?

reply

It's a prequel to The Man in the High Castle. Maggie Smith is an unusual casting choice to play Hitler, but she does an excellent job.

reply

Streep would have been great.

reply

Yes, the van is what the lady gets put into after they pull her out of the water.

reply

The working title was: "Lady in the Water 2: Git dat bitch in a Van"

reply

Funniest. Thread. EVER!

reply

Between my laughs I will try to say I agree with you! Great posting. Funny to the absurd.

reply

It's the same movie, but the humor is much drier.

reply

I like what you did there...

reply

No, this one co-stars Chris Farley as Matt Foley. It's The Lady in the Van Down by the River Smoking Doobies.

reply

This might be the dumbest question I've ever read on here.

reply

You are dumb.

I am pretty sure it is a sequel to Lady in the Water and a prequel to Lady in the Lake (after the van rolled in the lake). She goes from pool to van to lake and back to pool again.

All three movies have the exact same cast.

reply

I'm fairly sure this is a spin-off from The Lady in the Car with Glasses and a Gun, a French production which in turn borrowed heavily from The Woman in Black,
The Woman in Red and The Woman in Gold.
This woman was naturally, German, and was embroiled in a vindictive relationship with The Man Who Knew Too Much. Needless to say, a tragic ending ensues when The Lady Vanishes no doubt yet another victim of The Ladykillers.
